Hot. This Smokeware Chimney Cap is made of Stainless Steel and will become hot once the grill is heated. Do not touch any part of the metal once the grill is heated, use the rubber tab, a high temperature approved glove or a cooking utensil to adjust the vent setting.
Note:  The base diameter is 5 5/8 inches +/- and will not fit all models of Kamado Style Grills.  If you are unsure please measure your chimney diameter before ordering.  If you purchase to test fit and it does not the return shipping must be paid by the customer.  We pay outbound shipping and will provide a refund for purchase with no questions asked but not return shipping unless the product is defective or something unusual.
